Edi Sartorato holds a degree in Chemistry from the University of Campinas (1989), a master’s degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology from the University of Campinas (1994), and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology from New York University – Medical Center and the University of Campinas (1997). She is also Associate Professor in Medical Genetics. Currently, she is a Researcher and Director of the Center for Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering (CBMEG) at the University of Campinas. With extensive experience in genetics, she has led research projects focused on molecular studies of genetic conditions and has played a key role in managing scientific programs and research initiatives.
