“From Gene to Trait”

Course on plant biotechnology

Out of social isolation rules, “From Gene to Trait” is a  five full day course driven to the major plant biotechnology research tools such as gene discovery using bioinformatics, transcriptomic, metagenomics, microorganism culture collections, inoculants, gene editing, introduction to regulatory framework and intellectual property. It is offered in the second semester of the year in Campinas, São Paulo (Brazil).

The target audience of the From Gene to Trait course is undergraduate and graduate students, as well as professionals from companies working in the topics of agricultural biotechnology. The course is free of charge.



From August, 12th, 2021 to December, 9th, 2021

Time: every Thursday, from 04:00 pm to 06:00 pm (BRT)

The course will be held in Portuguese with some classes in English.

GENERAL PARTICIPANTS: deadline to apply is August 5, 2021, 06:00 pm (BRT).  A  certificate of attendance will be issued to participants who attend at least 75% of the course.
