Biasotti is a Genetic and Molecular Biology PhD candidate whose main research topic regards to community diversity and dynamics of drought-tolant species (Velloziaceae from Campo Rupestre). She got her M.Sc. degree in Plant Biology (2015) and in Biology in (2012), both from the University of Campinas (2012).
