Elibio Rech is an agronomist of EMBRAPA Genetic Resources and Biotechnology. He created and leads a research group, which is currently a national and international reference in the expression of heterologous proteins in plants and animals. He has been actively involved in different segments of the Federal Government on the issue of law-making, biosafety activities and Science and Technology policies.
