Plants are associated with microbial communities inhabiting roots, shoots and leaves, the so called microbiome. GCCRC is focused on unravelling the diversity and dinamics of the microbial communities assemblage in plant organs from Campos rupestres. Identifiying and targeting robust microbial colonizers and the molecular, biochemical componets of plant/microbe association is key to develop technologies to mitigate crop losses due to climate changes.
